On blogging, travelling, and having no money.
Hi, I’m Kayleigh! I’ve been blogging for over 10 years, as a hobby. Writing has always been my calling in life, so the idea of blogging was immediately attractive to me. Over the last decade, I’ve developed and grown a lot as a person and as a writer. I decided it was about time that I tried to make doing what I love into a job that I love.
I’m 25 years old, 5’5 without shoesies, and left-handed. I grew up in south-west England, and have a degree in English Language & Communication from the University of Hertfordshire. I love baking, travelling, writing (clearly), and I take so many photos. My hair has been every colour possible (I was even ginger for a day!). I have the posture of a vulture. If you want to know more about me, I have a personal category for you to browse. Or if you want a quick read, I wrote 100 facts about me, which was a lot harder than it sounds.
This is not an idyllic, healthy, lifestyle blog – I wouldn’t lie to you or to myself like that. I’m just like everybody else, striving to be happy in my own skin. I continuously look to improve and organise myself, despite being a chronic procrastinator and continually somnolent. My goal with this site is to continue to learn and improve my writing, and to build this blog up into something that I can be proud of. Ideally, I would like to make enough money from blogging to live off of. Of course this will be a lot of work, but it’s my dream to be able to say that I work for myself, and that I love my job.
